After being striped and sanded he was redressed in the gorgeous custom mixed deep teal colour, A distressed gold effect was applied to his squares to give him a bit of character and then some beautiful metallic gold was added to curves to really give him the wow factor. Now that he’s got the height he’s always desired thanks to some new gold legs, he’s ready to find his forever home where he can proudly take centre stage.
He’s super versatile and with his shelving area and large cupboard could be a perfect drinks cabinet, media unit hallway table....his uses are endless.

A careful dusting with a lint free cloth which can be slightly damp. As with all wooden and painted furniture a coaster should be used and harsh chemicals avoided.
Pieces are waxed or varnished for protection and with the right love and care can last for years!

We found this really good website called Upcite where we saw lots of different and unusual furniture. We were after something oldie looking to go under the eaves in our little snug room that has oak beams. This needed to be a specific size and look. Soo pleased when we found the Upcite website with a range of possibilities. We ordered a sideboard and it arrived within a few days and fits perfectly. It now looks lovely with it’s Christmas Garland on! From our experience we would recommend Upcite to others.
I did eventually receive the sideboard after a lot of back and forth, and the seller reached out to me. It arrived with a few scratches but that’s not the sellers fault and can be touched up. The experience however was rather stressful. I wish the seller had been as proactive from the start and not only after I complained, as it is simply nerve wrecking to spend close to £1000 and then never really hear from them and having to chase them repeatedly and the item not being delivered when it was agreed. Overall I am happy with the sideboard, but my experience wasn’t great and that’s how I genuinely feel.
