This is a wonderfully substantial piece with masses of character. The warm oak has a particularly lovely grain, especially across the top, and the cabinet retains some gorgeous original details including its decorative brass drop handles, turned front feet and glazed double doors.

The oak has been sympathetically restored rather than stripped of its age and character, bringing the timber back to life while retaining the warmth and patina you would expect from a genuine vintage piece.

Behind the two glazed doors are two spacious shelf levels, with the shelving adjustable to accommodate different heights. This makes it incredibly versatile — ideal as a traditional bookcase, but equally beautiful styled with ceramics, glassware, treasured collections or as a statement display cabinet.
