Hand prepped, painted and finished 2 tone wooden Gossip Bench with new brass fittings, butterfly hinges, closing door magnet catch and reupholstered Bench cushion.
It is believed that this item of furniture originated from the 1960's, originally presented in a dark varnish.
No expense or time has been spared in transforming the Bench into a contemporary piece, suited to many styles of home interiors.
This item would work well in an entrance hall or landing, providing adequate storage, comfortable seating and table space for small appliances, laptops or Telephones.

"I was looking for a piece to stand next to a small ornate fireplace in our 1920’s build home and kept coming back to this lovely makeover, named ‘Grace’. I’m so delighted to have bought it. Mandy took time and care in delivering it and although she emphasised the fact it was an old piece I can only re-emphasise that that is exactly what I was looking for. It is testament to her skills that she has given ‘Grace’ a wonderful new lease of life. The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer. The beautifully highlighted claw feet on the bottom of the piece are a real treat to look at, and my beady-eyed art tutor/’general expert on painted stuff’ agreed Mandys’ work is superb – sympathetic to the piece and to a high standard. I know I shall enjoy having Grace grace our home for many years".

"I am very pleased with the look and quality of the sideboard and enclose a photo of it in-situ in our hallway. It fits perfectly. Thank you for the extreme thoroughness of the packing (it must have taken ages, as it took me a long time to unpack) and it arrived intact. Just one little blip, the tape caught a tiny bit of paint on the bottom edge which came away, but I have been able to touch this in, so no problem with the overall look.
I also added some sensor lights inside to help identify the contents as the interior was dark. They work a treat".
