A single Stag Minstrel bedside table with one drawer and open top shelf. Composed of Cherry Mahogany and veneer. Stag build quality throughout.

The original dark Mahogany finish was dated and worn and in need of a makeover. I chose a vibrant shade of green by Fusion Mineral Paint called Park Bench for the exterior and a denim blue shade also by Fusion called Champlain for the interior including the inside of the drawer.

To begin, I cleaned the entire piece with sugar soap and warm soapy water. Next, I scuff sanded to improve adhesion followed by an adhesion primer by Dixie Belle Paint. Three coats of paint were applied and later sealed with matte Polyvine varnish. A new gold toned knob was added to finish.
