This large vintage sideboard has undergone a beautiful transformation, combining its original character with a new bold design which makes for a very striking piece. It boasts a rare and unique shape - which is hard to come by.  Mixing a drinks cabinet middle section with sideboard outer sections - so you get the best of both in one. Original features sing like the stunning woodgrain, the shape, and the ornate brass hardware. We use velvet fabric on our items to really elevate the overall design and add an additional layer of luxury and depth. This piece features a beautiful Art Deco fan design, by British designer Anna Hayman. This altogether really gives it the wow factor! Thanks to this full upcycle inside and out, it’s now sure to be the focal point in any room. It’s ready to be loved for generations again. DETAILS:

* Velvet fabric appliquéd to the fronts,  careful thought to symmetrical pattern placement/ pattern matching throughout.

* Studwork framing fabric in brass gold finish, with black velvet ribbons too. 

* The body is painted jet black which helps to modernise the overall look. The back is also plain black. 

* Gold leaf detailing on the feet, fading out up into the leg. A further distressed gold leaf effect on the ornate top side brackets to match. 

* Beautiful cabriole legs

* The top and sides have been left bare to show off that stunning original walnut woodgrain. The wood has been stripped back, restored, then treated with a rejuvenating wax oil to make it really sing - it is all hard wearing. 

* Inside: The middle section is a drinks cabinet area - the patterned velvet adorns the back to bring the design inside, with painted gold walls and a gold hard wearing vinyl base. Sensor lights that come on as you open the doors. 2 brand new strong glass shelves. 

* The outer sections are left wooden and have been rejuvenated with wood wax products which also smell amazing too! 

* Original antique brass ornate handles and hardware.

* All sections have working locks. 

* During the process the entire piece has been stripped, sanded smooth, thoroughly cleaned, painted, finished and sealed by hand and using professional products.

* Measurements: 143cm W, 106cm H, 54cm D (at highest or widest points)

* This is a vintage piece of furniture that has been upcycled, it is not brand new. This means it may have some minor marks/ dents/ blemishes on it from age related wear and tear. It is part of the items character and history. I do pride myself on the finish I achieve when restoring an item so any marks should be very minor. Any antique glass or mirrors may have small scratches or a patina due to age again but nothing major. I do not accept refunds due to this nature.

* Delivery: to anywhere in England is £80 on this item. That is for a 2 man private courier, delivery to ground floor front door, but please be available to help at your end just incase.
