This is a mid century chest, with four drawers, possibly schreiber or similar.
The handles were the stand out part if this, and they provided the inspiration for the gold leaf circular design. For the sketches and the processes please see my social media pages.
The main body is painted in ReColour recycled chalk paint, and sealed with clear wax.
A lovely functional upcycle saving the piece from landfill and hopefully now providing a new statement piece in a new home.
