Upcycled Pine Dining Table with 4 Vintage Oak Chairs

Take a look at this fabulous dining table with 4 matching chairs. 

All the items were heading for landfill before we rescued them and carefully, and lovingly upcycled them to brought them back to life.

The table top has been stripped back to the bare wood and a dark wax applied to bring out this lovely original patina. The pedestal base has then been painted with a unique mix of furniture paints, Delamere (Vintage with Grace Range), Pesto (Vintage with Grace) and Amsterdam Green (Annie Sloan). It has then been distressed back to match the chairs.

The chair backs and bases have been painted with the same colour, and, again distressed back to maintain that vintage aged look. The seats have been stripped back and the same dark wax as the table applied.

The chairs are all very similar, but differ slightly in their ornate features. Please check the pictures.

All the painted surfaces were then giving 2 coats of clear varnish for extra protection and durability.

A very unique and striking dining set. All the items are strong, sturdy and in excellent condition.

Our furniture has been pre-loved and although we have taken the time to rejuvenate it it occasionally show signs of it’s previous life. This adds character, life and interest to the piece and is part of the charm when buying beautiful vintage furniture.
