A beautifully reimagined vintage bookcase combining rich green with antique gold detailing and a striking decorative patterned interior.
The traditional form has been transformed into a distinctive statement piece while retaining its original practicality. Three generous open shelves provide ample space for books, ceramics, objets d'art and collections, while a spacious lower drawer offers useful concealed storage.
The interior backing has been finished in an elegant green and gold 'Boxing Hares' pattern, complemented by fine gold detailing along the shelving and drawer front. A shaped decorative crest and subtly highlighted detailing across the top lend the piece an elegant, almost Regency-inspired character.
The combination of saturated colour, pattern and traditional proportions makes this particularly suited to eclectic, maximalist, traditional and heritage-inspired interiors, where it can function as both practical storage and a decorative focal point.
This is a individually refinished vintage piece and consequently retains the character and minor age-related imperfections expected of furniture with a previous life.
