A Lovely Victorian Mahogany console table on original castors with two deep (front to back) drawers and a full width lower shelf.

The table was originally a dark lacquered piece which was scuffed and dated. I decided to strip the finish off the top and expose the beautiful grain. I refinished with a dark brown and clear wax to protect.

The body and legs were cleaned, scuff sanded, primed and painted in Oakham by Fusion Mineral Paint, a dark bronzey green shade which pairs well with the natural Mahogany top. The paint was sealed with Polyvine varnish to protect.

To finish, the original drawer pulls that were broken had to be replaced with alternative Victorian brass pulls and the drawers were lined with coordinating striped paper.
