A fabulous solid oak Victorian washstand or hall table/desk with a shaped gallery back and two handy drawers. This would be ideal for conversion into a bathroom vanity/sink unit. You could possibly fit two basins on it if desired to give you a double vanity. We've deliberately had the top refinished with a plastic coating that wont get damaged by water for this reason.
This is strong and structurally sound. The top and gallery back has been sympathetically refinished leaving a few original scratches and given a tough plastic coating making it resistant to water and spills. The base of the unit has been left original so has light signs of wear and tear. There's a small nail in the edge trim where it looks as if a previous owner has tacked it back on. One side panel looks a bit different to the other, I think it may not be oak like the rest, but it blends in fairly well. There's a little bit of historic woodworm damage to the top edge of the gallery back. Inside the drawers has the remains of an old paper lining.

We can deliver to you ourselves within an hour of Leigh On Mendip for a small charge, but please MESSAGE US with your postcode details BEFORE PURCHASING for us to agree a date and delivery price with you, and we will personally deliver the item to your door.
For deliveries further afield, EXCLUDING SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS, ISLANDS and IRELAND, we use tried and trusted independent couriers who offer a 2 hour time slot and specialise in the careful shipping of furniture to ensure your item arrives on time, damage free and by friendly helpful people. We don’t use the cheapest couriers around for a reason…….we want your item to arrive in the condition that it left us in, and we value happy customers !!!

IMPORTANT:
Your item will be dispatched the week after you place your order, we cannot usually dispatch in the same week that you place your order. This means that your order will generally take 1-2 weeks to be delivered, deliveries to Scotland may take longer.
You will need to be available to take delivery. This could be any day between Monday and Friday, we would pass your details and they will be in touch with you to give you a delivery date and the day before you will receive a 2 hour timeslot. If this date isn’t convenient you can contact them to rearrange to another date. If you have any specific dates in mind please contact us prior to purchase so that we can check whether our couriers can be in your area on this day.
You will need to provide us with a mobile number at check out for us to pass onto the couriers.
Delivery will be handled by a two man team.
