A striking vintage sideboard, individually restored and reimagined in a rich lacquer-red finish with warm antique-gold detailing.
Inspired by traditional Chinese and Chinoiserie interiors, the piece features three decorative lattice-fronted cupboard doors, ornate drop handles and gold-painted architectural moulding throughout. The bold red and gold palette gives it a dramatic, almost boutique-hotel quality while retaining the character of the original vintage piece.
Inside, the cupboards and drawers have been newly lined with a coordinating gold geometric key-fret pattern, creating an unexpected decorative detail each time the piece is opened.
The three upper drawers provide useful storage for smaller items, while the lower cupboards offer generous shelving for tableware, glassware, books, linens or decorative objects.
A highly versatile statement piece, it would work beautifully as a dining-room sideboard, drinks cabinet, hallway console, living-room storage cabinet or decorative buffet.
