An elegant vintage French-style occasional table, restored and reimagined in a rich burgundy-claret palette with contrasting black detailing and hand-applied gilt accents.
The table retains its beautifully shaped dark polished wood top, providing a warm contrast to the richly decorated base. Elegant cabriole legs, an ornate shaped frieze and classical French proportions give the piece a graceful silhouette, while gilded shell, scroll and foliate detailing brings depth and a sense of opulence to the design.
The deep claret finish has been deliberately paired with black and antique-gold detailing to create a dramatic yet sophisticated piece that works equally well in traditional, eclectic and maximalist interiors.
