We are excited to share this beautiful vintage freestanding kitchen larder cupboard. This one-of-a-kind, bespoke piece once started life as a wardrobe. After many years of homing clothes, we rescued it and transformed it into this unique larder-pantry unit. The outer unit is painted in dried thyme chalk paint and sealed matt varnish for extra durability. To complement the exterior, the colour Kashmir was carefully handpainted inside. Two spice racks were handmade and added to the doors to store all your spices and some sauce bottles. Antique brass-coloured knurl handles replaced the once generic handles to enhance this larder's full potential.
This freestanding storage pantry would be stunning in a farmhouse-styled kitchen or a focal piece in a contemporary-style kitchen. An organised country kitchen can be the ultimate dream for most of us. Still, the reality is often quite different when family life takes over and everyday ingredients are shoved chaotically into bulging cupboards. If you have space for a larder/pantry dedicated to dried and tinned goods, it is the first step to organisational heaven.

Alternatively, you are more than welcome to collect from our workshop; at least two people will help you load; contact us via email to arrange a suitable time for collection.

Two-person deliveries can be arranged; however, this will incur a surcharge. If you need a piece going upstairs or any other room, please get in touch with us, and we will do our very best to arrange this; however, this will also be subject to a small additional cost
Aftercare
All our items are either antique or vintage pre-loved items and, therefore, show signs of a previous life commensurate with age, all adding to its charm. Please avoid commercial polishes on your painted surface; a slightly damp micro-fibre cloth is enough to maintain your furniture.

We have installed the Mahogany Chippendale Show Cabinet today! I have attached some photos of it in situ. We are planning to have a photoshoot in a few weeks where it will be dressed with glasses etc. I will be sure to send some more over then- it’s going to be a showstopper! It is a very beautiful piece and we are really happy with the purchase.
Honestly, I wish I could give six stars because five just doesn’t feel like enough! (I never give five as there’s always room for improvement.) But I genuinely can’t think of how they could have done this better. In this day and age, you’re lucky if people even turn up, so this level of service was a breath of fresh air. The sellers were absolutely superb—they personally delivered the chest of drawers, blanket-wrapped for extra protection, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The piece itself is stunning. The rich Aubusson Blue, the jungle-inspired details, and the gold accents all come together beautifully. You can tell a lot of care went into restoring it. I’d love to have more pieces like this to match and complete my home.

Absolutely love my table. I live in a Victorian building with a narrow enclosed staircase. The seller unscrewed the top from the legs for me so that it could be carried up the stairs. Everything was perfect.
