Ooak Vintage Desk on castor wheels - refurbished and painted in chalky charcoal/ black and finished with wax. The top has been stripped from varnish and sanded to reveal the beautiful pattern of the wood and then waxed again. It was repaired by its previous owner due to a crack but it wasn't sitting too straight and it wasn't looking great so we took it off and made a bigger repair by placing a strip of pine wood then giving it a lick of metallic paint (inspired by brass inlays) we think this desk looks so cool now!

We love the piece Wendy has created for us. We went to her house to collect it on Sunday morning. She has done a great job on it and it works perfectly in the space for which it was intended. I've sent you a text message with the photo.

So, a huge thank you to you for connecting us back up with her. Thanks to you we have a beautiful chest that we love. She told us the story of the courier theft - there's some horrible people in the world.
