A charming antique oak bureau bookcase, combining practical storage with elegant period styling. Raised on slender turned legs, this attractive piece features a shaped gallery back, a leaded glazed display cabinet, a fall-front writing bureau and useful open storage, making it ideal as both a decorative and functional addition to any home.

The left-hand glazed door opens to reveal two fixed shelves, perfect for displaying books, china or collectables. To the right, the fall-front bureau opens smoothly to reveal a beautifully arranged fitted interior with a selection of pigeonholes, compartments and a small central drawer, creating an excellent writing or home office space. Below sits a useful drawer with original brass drop handles and an open storage compartment.

Crafted in solid oak with attractive grain throughout, the cabinet stands on elegant turned legs, which give it a light, refined appearance. The gallery back completes the classic Arts & Crafts-inspired design.
