This antique oak sideboard or cabinet, dates from around from the late 19th or early 20th century. It features a dark finish with carved details along the top edge and has rich, distinctive burr wood panels on the doors.

Total height: 105.8 cm
Height to the top surface: 94.2 cm
Width: 122.2 cm
Depth: 47.2 cm
Key Features
Material: The primary wood is oak, while the door panels showcase prominent, swirled burr wood veneer.
Design: The piece has characteristics of the Arts & Crafts movement or possibly a Gothic Revival influence, noted in the simple, robust construction and carved accents.
Hardware: It is fitted with a simple, metal, ring-style pull handle on each door.
I do not believe The handles on the doors are original to the piece. It seems at one point these would have had a key and latch system which the current handles are covering.
Condition.
We have thoroughly cleaned this sideboard inside and out.
The exterior has been waxed with high quality beeswax and the internals have been treated with orange furniture oil. This helps to rejuvenate the wood.
We have lightly sanded and waxed the draw, sides and runners so the drawers pull and retract smoothly.
The sideboard does have some age-related marks but is in overall very good condition, solid and ready to be used.
Delivery is via a reputable courier who will use protective blankets during transportation and will liaise with the buyer during the transportation process.
