This is a truly outstanding quality antique style leather campaign portable cocktail drinks or wine bar. This piece contains compartments for bottles and comes with leather-handled ice tongs, a leather-handled corkscrew, and a leather-handled bottle opener. It also has a leather bound metal cocktail or water bottle, a leather clad ice bucket and even a serving tray. The top lifts and the front flap drops down to create a serving and preparation area. It opens to reveal the fitted interior but is also an attractive piece of furniture when closed. The bar sits on an brass x frame stand which can also be folded in traditional campaign furniture style. However the bar still would display well without the stand if required.

Campaign furniture is an umbrella term for the portable items of furniture used by the British military in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. It is comprised of a huge number of objects from stationery boxes, bars, trunks, games tables, and drinks cabinets. A number of celebrated British furniture makers created these pieces of campaign furniture, elevating it beyond its roots in functional army design to very desirable and collectable statement pieces.

It measures 124cm high, 45cm wide, and 32cm deep when closed including the stand. It is 39cm high, 32cm deep and 45cm wide just as a bar cabinet. It is in very good condition. It is made from real leather so may have natural imperfections which add to the character of the piece. There are a few minor small marks, scratches and rubs to the brass stand as it has been intentionally given an aged used antique style appearance. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
