"VICTOR" is a vintage steamer wardrobe trunk turned cocktail/drinks/wine bar. The piece is over 100 years old designed by the Victor Luggage Company. It was made during the 1920s, a period when steamer trunks were commonly produced.
Steamer trunks were first made in the late 1870s, but the majority were produced between the 1880s and 1920s. They were named after their storage location in the cabin of a steamboat.
I have lovingly restored this item and found a modern, practical use for it - as a wine, cocktail and drinks bar! Whether you are a wine connoisseur, a cocktail bar expert or simply want a unique bar for your space, this piece perfectly fits all decor.
Since chests and trunks date to Medieval times, we don't flatter ourselves that we have the only one that's ever-held libations-but ours is certainly the most ingeniously outfitted and easily transported! On the outside, our vintage style, stateroom wardrobe steamer trunk is wrapped in a replica William Morris "Strawberry Thief" decoupage then fitted with 6 wheels on ball bearing casters so that it can be easily wheeled out for your parties and functions. On the inside, the cabinet opens to reveal a full-sized, double-sided bar. One half boasts a fixed art deco style wine rack which can house 11 bottles of wine, a bottom deep and tall shelf suitable to house large bottles of spirits and 3 original drawers suitable for holding linens, barware, snacks, napkins ect. The top drawer has an attached vintage bird bottle opener on decorative ribbon to ensure that this never gets lost. The facing section is outfitted with a solid oak, waney edge, fold out shelf so you have plenty of space to mix those cocktails! There is another fitted shelf at the bottom suitable for holding more wine, beer, cans or other bottles of your choice. To complete the look, you'll find a sensor operated light to give the piece that extra WOW factor!
I have finished off the top of the trunk with a bluey green, gold and white marble effect resin pour making this yet ANOTHER surface where you can rest your glasses!
This functional work of furniture art is easily stored out of the way and moved to the forefront when friends land in your port called Happy Hour. A stunning piece!

Dimensions of the cabinet are as follows:

Height: 104cm
Width: 104cm (when fully opened)
Depth: 41cm

If you like this piece but it is not exactly what you're looking for in terms of colour and design, did you know that I also offer a custom service? So, if you have a special piece you'd love to restyle, or would prefer this piece in a different design, please send me a message today. I am also able to source steamer trunks for you if you are looking for a particular design (although please note that these are hard to come by).

As this is a vintage piece and I have tried to keep as many original features as possible, this item may show some minor signs of its' age.

Timeless Furniture LTD UK (Wrexham) - thank you! Highly recommended.

This is the second time we've bought off Upcite and will always return. This time around, we bought a Victorian Mahogany Chest Of Drawers (£429 including P&P) from Timeless Furniture LTD UK. We contacted Timeless Furniture (Wrexham) through the messages section and they (Dave) were super helpful in confirming P&P will be covered their end but also went out of their way to coat the chest of drawers with another round of woodworm treatment, which was much appreciated. The drawers had been treated before but Dave offered to do it again to allay our concerns. So, once they confirmed this we punched it. The drawers then arrived via courier about a week later and packed very well, arriving in one piece and no damage. Highly recommend Upcite and Timeless Furniture LTD UK. Pete

Nest of tables

The nest of tables are very tastefully done, they are the final piece of furniture in our living room and we're very happy with them. Comms with J&M were great and the tables were packaged very well so arrived in perfect condition. We will definitely buy from UpCite and J&M again when we next need a beautiful piece of furniture. Many thanks

Happy with my cabinet

An absolutely stunning, one-of-a-kind vintage cabinet, lovingly restored by Julie and Mark, whose craftsmanship and attention to detail really shine through. The delivery process, unfortunately, didn’t go to plan, with damage caused by the courier, but both Cole at Upcite and Julie and Mark were incredibly supportive throughout. They pushed to have the piece properly repaired and kept me updated the whole way. Thanks to their persistence and care, the cabinet looks just as gorgeous in my home as I’d hoped. A true statement piece

"I don’t like to match furniture and love mish mash, quirky and odd looking things lol. I absolutely love them. My house is 203 years old and is grade II listed. I think it makes an old cottage come alive and puts a modern twist on it. I love furniture that tells a story or gets people talking at a house party".
