Vintage Walnut Chest On Chest – 8 Drawer Tallboy Chest

A handsome vintage walnut chest on chest featuring striking figured walnut grain across the drawer fronts and classic decorative drop handles. The piece is formed in two sections for easier transportation and offers excellent storage with eight smoothly running drawers in total.

Raised on shaped bun style feet with moulded edging throughout, this tall chest has a warm rich tone and elegant proportions that work beautifully in both traditional and mid-century interiors.

Condition: Good vintage condition overall with age-related wear as expected. The top has some surface wear commensurate with use. Sides are generally good, with the left side slightly more faded than the right and showing a few small marks, none significant. All eight drawers run smoothly and all handles match apart from the very top drawer, as shown in the photographs. General wear to the feet from years of use. There is some evidence of historic woodworm but nothing significant or active - has been treated.

The chest separates into two sections for transport and can be secured together internally from inside the upper section.
