Circa 1880, it is in good condition and thoughtfully designed to break into three sections for easy transport.
The top features a charming cornice above two glazed doors, which open to reveal three height adjustable shelves—perfect for showcasing your prized books or collectibles. Below, a beautifully crafted cylinder bureau conceals a fitted interior complete with pigeonholes and three new leather insets, each with tooled edging for a refined look. The pull-out writing surface offers added versatility, with the central leather panel being height-adjustable to suit your preferred writing position.
At the base, two panelled cupboard doors open to reveal a single shelf for additional storage. The entire piece rests on a plinth base, providing a solid foundation while adding to its classic appeal.
