Vintage Walnut Tallboy Wardrobe

What a showstopper!

This vintage walnut wardrobe has been lovingly restored, creating a truly unique piece.

The body is painted in a deep muted purple which pairs beautifully with the walnut veneer.

Edged in a dark metallic bronze the walnut grain really is the star of the show. Carefully stripped back then refinished in an oil based varnish to make that grain pop!

The original handles remain, cleaned and polished to restore them to their former glory.

Open the doors to a gorgeous vintage style wallpaper that lines the inside. With its floral design featuring pinks and rust colours to complement the outside of the piece it makes an impressive statement.

The piece consists of 2 doors which open to the cupboard section. Here you'll find a pull out hanging rail which is perfect for jackets and shirts. Underneath there are 3 drawers which can store your t-shirts and jumpers. 

Investing in a vintage piece not only adds personality and style to you home but it also supports sustainability by giving a new life to furniture which may otherwise be lost.

Condition

My vintage pieces are carefully selected to give you a truly unique piece for your home. 

All drawers and doors operate smoothly, as they should. The lock is working a comes with the original key. 

There are imperfections in the veneer which are in-keeping with its age.

I remain faithful to the history and character of my pieces whilst ensuring I deliver pieces that are fully functioning and structurally sound. Overall, this is a sound and solid piece of furniture. 

Aftercare

Your new furniture needs only a gentle wipe over or dust with a micro-fibre cloth from time to time to keep it looking fresh.

All pieces come with a complimentary care pack which includes a small pot of touch up paint and wax or topcoat should you need it. 

Courier

All our pieces are delivered by our trusted and insured furniture couriers. 

Delivery can take around 2 weeks, but I will keep you updated every step of the way.

Delivery is free for mainland England, Wales, and Southern Scotland. For Cornwall, Highlands, Islands and Ireland please get in touch prior to purchase.

Normally my courier works alone and may need assistance with larger items. If you require a two person team, please let me know when you purchase as an extra charge may be payable. 

Colour

If you are unsure on the colour of any of our pieces, I will happily send out a painted sample stick so you can see the colour against your existing decor.
