A good quality mid 19th century figured mahogany writing table or desk
 
The rectangular thumb - moulded top with gilt tooled leather writing surface above two frieze drawers fitted with traditional brass handles
 
Bold turned supports joined by a turned stretcher 
 
Raised on a platform style base with scroll feet and  underside castors 
 
Good condition - the back foot has lost a small piece of mahogany to one of its toes
