This beautifully restyled 3 drawer chest is the epitome of French chic.
Small and bijou, it makes a big impact and is the perfect piece to design your French-themed interior around.
With 3 drawers of equal size and the original hardware happily still intact, (although now cleaned, buffed and varnished), the main body of this small dresser has been painted in a gorgeous mix of muted black and soft gold.
But the “piece de resistance”, as they say in France, is the stunning chandelier and French script decoupage design that adorns the front of the chest. It is so evocative you can almost see the crystals sparkle, and if you say the words with a French accent, you’re immediately transported to the romance capital of the world.
This piece would look amazing in an entrance hall, or on a landing, standing under a wonderfully ornate mirror, perhaps with a vase of white flowers, or some lovely candles on top.

Your furniture will be delivered by our trusted couriers on a mutually suitable date. If you would prefer to collect your furniture, I can advise on the best way of protecting it whilst it's in transit and am happy to help you load it onto your vehicle.

We found this really good website called Upcite where we saw lots of different and unusual furniture. We were after something oldie looking to go under the eaves in our little snug room that has oak beams. This needed to be a specific size and look. Soo pleased when we found the Upcite website with a range of possibilities. We ordered a sideboard and it arrived within a few days and fits perfectly. It now looks lovely with it’s Christmas Garland on! From our experience we would recommend Upcite to others.
I did eventually receive the sideboard after a lot of back and forth, and the seller reached out to me. It arrived with a few scratches but that’s not the sellers fault and can be touched up. The experience however was rather stressful. I wish the seller had been as proactive from the start and not only after I complained, as it is simply nerve wrecking to spend close to £1000 and then never really hear from them and having to chase them repeatedly and the item not being delivered when it was agreed. Overall I am happy with the sideboard, but my experience wasn’t great and that’s how I genuinely feel.
