Stunning Restored 1930s Art Deco Dressing Table – Versatile Statement Piece
This beautifully restored Art Deco dressing table is a striking and versatile piece that brings vintage charm and sophistication to any space. Whether used in a bedroom, hallway, or repurposed as a sideboard or chest of drawers without the mirrors, it’s sure to turn heads.
Expertly restored and hand-painted in Coal Black by Fusion Mineral Paint, the piece exudes timeless elegance. The drawer fronts and top surfaces have been carefully refinished and treated with Osmo oil to enhance the natural beauty of the wood grain. Delicate stencil work adorns the small side drawers, while the interiors are lined with luxurious black and gold geometric Art Deco paper, adding a touch of glamour.
Unique to this piece are the sliding side compartments, each with built-in shelving and interiors gilded in gold leaf – a true nod to Art Deco opulence.
The original handles have been restored and transformed with a new gold and black glazed finish, beautifully tying together the overall design.

old gold glass topped bedside table
This is the second time we've bought off Upcite and will always return. This time around, we bought a Victorian Mahogany Chest Of Drawers (£429 including P&P) from Timeless Furniture LTD UK. We contacted Timeless Furniture (Wrexham) through the messages section and they (Dave) were super helpful in confirming P&P will be covered their end but also went out of their way to coat the chest of drawers with another round of woodworm treatment, which was much appreciated. The drawers had been treated before but Dave offered to do it again to allay our concerns. So, once they confirmed this we punched it. The drawers then arrived via courier about a week later and packed very well, arriving in one piece and no damage. Highly recommend Upcite and Timeless Furniture LTD UK. Pete
The nest of tables are very tastefully done, they are the final piece of furniture in our living room and we're very happy with them. An absolutely stunning, one-of-a-kind vintage cabinet, lovingly restored by Julie and Mark, whose craftsmanship and attention to detail really shine through. The delivery process, unfortunately, didn’t go to plan, with damage caused by the courier, but both Cole at Upcite and Julie and Mark were incredibly supportive throughout. They pushed to have the piece properly repaired and kept me updated the whole way. Thanks to their persistence and care, the cabinet looks just as gorgeous in my home as I’d hoped.
