Superb early Arts & Crafts oak mirror back sideboard having intricate carvings to the top of the mirror and door panels.
The large central mirror is flanked by four smaller mirrors with a wrapped around leaded glazed side feature. The sideboard has two long drawers and a central short drawer over two large cupboards with fitted shelving, all resting on side legs.
Just looking at this very grand sideboard, you can see the quality and opulence of the Corinthian columns which support the canopy above the mirror and also the carved trim to the top of the sideboard top and skirt.
This piece is extremely large, solid and very heavy!
It does have a few small blemishes and a small piece of wood has come away from the rear of the right hand side of the sideboard as seen in the photographs - but this really is a majestic piece… the best we’ve ever had in stock!
This beaut really does need a very special home that has a large enough room to accommodate it.
This is a ‘forever’ piece of furniture!
Dimensions 188cm wide x 62.5cm deep x 215cm high.
The sideboard does split in half for transport purposes. I really can’t stress enough though how heavy and solid this piece is!

We found this really good website called Upcite where we saw lots of different and unusual furniture. We were after something oldie looking to go under the eaves in our little snug room that has oak beams. This needed to be a specific size and look. Soo pleased when we found the Upcite website with a range of possibilities. We ordered a sideboard and it arrived within a few days and fits perfectly. It now looks lovely with it’s Christmas Garland on! From our experience we would recommend Upcite to others.
I did eventually receive the sideboard after a lot of back and forth, and the seller reached out to me. It arrived with a few scratches but that’s not the sellers fault and can be touched up. The experience however was rather stressful. I wish the seller had been as proactive from the start and not only after I complained, as it is simply nerve wrecking to spend close to £1000 and then never really hear from them and having to chase them repeatedly and the item not being delivered when it was agreed. Overall I am happy with the sideboard, but my experience wasn’t great and that’s how I genuinely feel.
