This elegant classical cabinet has all the curves in all the right places. When she arrived she was old and unloved. Now, she’s had a full refurbishment. The broken drawers have been fixed and with the broken handles replaced. New mirrors have been added inside along with a new sensor light. Her earthy warm green is Fusion Mineral Pain in Bayberry, paired with the luxurious gold pigments for the art deco accents including the stencil design over exposed wood. The stand out grain on drawer fronts has been left exposed, each drawer is framed in gold and finished with osmo oil to nourish and protect the wood. The back now pops with the faux gold leaf making her every bit the regal piece she now is! Lastly the poly onlays add that last little attention to detail around the keyholes and followed upto the top. This cabinet will make a fantastic addition to any living space. All pieces refurbished by Made it Pretty are finished to a high standard but they are vintage pieces and have had a previous life, as a result, they will sometimes show signs of this life in imperfections or flaws. My new table arrived from PinkDotUpcycling at Upcite and omg I'm in love! I so miss being able to do this kind of thing myself, but cannot fault the work done to bring this table back to life and just look how stunning my kraken's bride is!! . Off to follow the FB groups now to see what other unique pretties I can find! Technically a lamp table, but us three being shorties means it will work just fine for crafting, science experiments etc. . . Only opened up to protect the artwork and a table cloth!.
