This chest of drawers features three spacious lower drawers and two smaller upper drawers, providing stylish and ample storage space for organising clothing, linens, or other belongings.
The chest of drawers is constructed from solid pine, with tongue and groove panels to the bottom of the drawers themselves. The piece has been renovated to ensure strength and durability, whilst maintaining hints of a unique character from its former life. The back is tongue and groove and has also been painted and finished.
The piece has been professionally refinished in Little Greene 'Pompeian Ash', giving a sophisticated, calming aesthetic with its deep khaki green, and brass handles adding an elegant touch.
To the interior, a thin soft wash of Country Grey by Annie Sloan was applied to tone down the remnants of warmth from the pine, but keeping the beauty of the wood grain visible. The sides of the drawers feature intricate, geometric patterns in the same tonal shade.
The surfaces have been sealed with Polyvine Wax Finish Satin Varnish for ulitmate longevity and durability with a pleasing soft sheen, and the wooden drawer runners have been waxed to ensure smooth running.
With its updated but classic design, this chest of drawers would make a beautiful addition to any bedroom or living space that will enhance the style of any room for years to come.
