From our luxury feature range is this 1950s Beautility Cocktail cabinet, professionally refinished in the manner of the lobby at the world famous Palmer House Hotel in Chicago USA.
The exterior has been stripped of its original finish to reveal a glorious Walnut grain which has been paired with gold highlights. We decided to keep the base as wood so stained in a honey gel stain with gold borders. The sides feature the iconic Tiffany Peacocks in the way of wooden panels.
The interior cupboards have been painted in a Coal Black mineral paint and the doors have been hand stencilled with a Peacock fan design.
Inside both drawers have been painted Black and lined with a faux Black leather.
The Cocktail compartment has again been stencilled and to finish an engraved mirror depicting the Peacock design from the lobby floor.
Option to have an auto sensor rechargeable light fitted at no extra cost please message me if you would like this included.

"Fantastic website and customer service, cabinet as described and good quality, good value for money and regular communication contact from Upcite. "The sideboard is stunning, thank you. Looks perfect in my flat. As if it was meant to be there".

"I don’t like to match furniture and love mish mash, quirky and odd looking things lol. I absolutely love them. My house is 203 years old and is grade II listed. I think it makes an old cottage come alive and puts a modern twist on it. I love furniture that tells a story or gets people talking at a house party".

Drinks Cabinet

All is well with the cabinet and looks great. It's in storage for a while, the room is not ready as the house is under renovation but will be perfect and I think will be much-loved. Bringing a house and furniture to life is a rewarding combination.
Devivery driver was good too, reliable, caring and kept me informed

Victorian Mahogany Cross Banded Chest of Drawers

It is my partner’s favourite piece. We love antiques as they are very aesthetically pleasing – especially for an old house. You know also that, with old stuff they were built to last. I am very happy with experience. The drawers were well polished and packed with care. Delivery was easy as well as the 2 man’d service was a doddle. What’s more is you save pieces from landfill which is good for the environment.
