Hand painted with deep rich purple shade and varnished for protection.
Keeping the natural wood both side of the cabinet and on the drawer fronts to show off its beautiful grain framing them with gold pin stripes around the edges.
The cabinet has two drawers, lined with brown suede, offering excellent storage and the movement of the drawers are excellent.
The top drawer depth is 7cm, the bottom drawer is 22cm deep and completed with new gold ornate pull handles.
The cabinet has wonderful detailing running along the top and to the base the chest sits on bracket feet.

"I was looking for a piece to stand next to a small ornate fireplace in our 1920’s build home and kept coming back to this lovely makeover, named ‘Grace’. I’m so delighted to have bought it. Mandy took time and care in delivering it and although she emphasised the fact it was an old piece I can only re-emphasise that that is exactly what I was looking for. It is testament to her skills that she has given ‘Grace’ a wonderful new lease of life. The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer. The beautifully highlighted claw feet on the bottom of the piece are a real treat to look at, and my beady-eyed art tutor/’general expert on painted stuff’ agreed Mandys’ work is superb – sympathetic to the piece and to a high standard. I know I shall enjoy having Grace grace our home for many years".

"I don’t like to match furniture and love mish mash, quirky and odd looking things lol. I absolutely love them. My house is 203 years old and is grade II listed. I think it makes an old cottage come alive and puts a modern twist on it. I love furniture that tells a story or gets people talking at a house party".
