This Ancient Mariner Half-moon Console Table has been hand crafted from mango wood. I have hand painted the Console Table in Frenchic BlackJack, which is a rich ink black colour. The piece has been sealed with clear wax. The solid wood panels have been enriched with hemp oil to emphasise the rich wood colour and lovely grain. The central dovetail drawer has an antique brass handle.
The Console Table is ideal in an entranceway or hallway, and If used in your living room or dining room I would recommend using coasters.
*Please note that the back right leg has had woodworm, which has been treated and holes filled in before painting*

"I was looking for a piece to stand next to a small ornate fireplace in our 1920’s build home and kept coming back to this lovely makeover, named ‘Grace’. I’m so delighted to have bought it. Mandy took time and care in delivering it and although she emphasised the fact it was an old piece I can only re-emphasise that that is exactly what I was looking for. It is testament to her skills that she has given ‘Grace’ a wonderful new lease of life. The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer. The beautifully highlighted claw feet on the bottom of the piece are a real treat to look at, and my beady-eyed art tutor/’general expert on painted stuff’ agreed Mandys’ work is superb – sympathetic to the piece and to a high standard. I know I shall enjoy having Grace grace our home for many years".

"I don’t like to match furniture and love mish mash, quirky and odd looking things lol. I absolutely love them. My house is 203 years old and is grade II listed. I think it makes an old cottage come alive and puts a modern twist on it. I love furniture that tells a story or gets people talking at a house party".
