This unusual and stunning Beautility Sideboard with floating top, and hidden drinks and glasses storage, really stands out for all the right reasons. Pairing classic retro design with cutting edge designer wallpaper. The timeless black exterior is paired with an unexpected pop of bright red.

- Painted Black (Onyx eggshell from Benjamin Moore) - water and scratch resistant
- Decorated front with curvy retro wallpaper (The Curious Department – Rebel Knit Onyx)
- Three door cupboard with fixed internal shelf
- 3 drawers above with red interior
- “Hidden” drawers – which pull out at either end – for storage of drinks & glasses – red interior

This 1960’s sideboard is well made and offers ample storage. The retro design sits on the most gorgeous curved legs.
The wallpaper is called Rebel Knit by The Curious Dept – “the curvy swervy intertwining loops have been inspired by the organic geometry of 1970’s Italian luxury hotelier upholstery…..this arresting pattern is a maze for the mind and a treat for the eyes”.
There are 3 drawers in the top section with dovetail joints, all of which run smoothly. The cupboard has a fixed internal shelf and 3 doors. The right two concertina open. The interior cupboard is fully painted black. Then at either end there are “secret” pull out drawers which offer storage for drinks and glasses.
Easy to care for - wipe with dry / damp microfibre cloth.
Condition - This is a refinished vintage item, and may show some signs of wear commensurate with it's age. This piece is in very good condition. Any questions please ask.
DELIVERY - FREE UK mainland delivery. I will contact you to arrange the delivery details. Delivery is normally by a one man furniture courier to the ground floor. Help will be required at your end to unload. If you require 2 man delivery please enquire as this may incur an additional cost

I wanted a bit more of a statement piece for the alcove in my dining room and instantly loved the fabric on this restored chair. It looks great and something different to what’s available in a furniture store. Customer service and delivery was great too and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Upcite to friends and family. I’ll certainly keep an eye out for other pieces that become available that will look great in my home.

I would LIKE to be able to say that every purchase I make is dominated by deciding what's best for the environment.
However, to be honest it's more the individual artistry that goes into it that makes it a special unique piece of furniture. You simply cannot buy that new. Unless I suppose you commission an individual piece, in which case the astronomical price would put me off.
I was trawling for sideboards several months ago and one just jumped out screaming "buy me!" I did and I absolutely love it. I bought a beautiful trunk from her as well.
So now I will always see what upcycled beauties are available before buying new.
I honestly was so delighted with finally getting hold of this beautiful piece which I had set my eyes on for sometime now! The communication with the seller was outstanding, he was so engaged in securing the assembly and delivery happens. Honestly, UPCITE was a great experience for me with your few emails checking is all fine. Very spot on for this type of items. The only leaa pleasant experience was the delivery team themselves, not the courier company; they damaged some paint on my walls, on the bookcase. Perhaps the packing could also be more secured at the edges as discussed with Gabriel.
