This stunning desk is a beautiful and functional example of how to bring style and elegance to your work space.

Dating back to the early 20th century, it is a deceptively spacious double pedestal desk, standing on eight claw and ball feet.

Comprising five drawers: 3 shallower and two deeper, there's ample room for all your filing and paperwork. Above each set of drawers is a slider,a pull out worktop, giving you even more desk space.

The finish is a multi coloured faux old world finish using Annie Sloan chalk paints, Pure, Chicago Grey, French Linen and Aubusson Blue. The sides and back are panelled The drawers have been left to show case their natural wood. The original hardware is brought back to its former glory with gold spray.

If you are looking for something a little "more" than your average desk, this is definitely for you.

The desk can be put against a wall or be put in the centre of a room as a focal point.

Very happy with item

We found this really good website called Upcite where we saw lots of different and unusual furniture. We were after something oldie looking to go under the eaves in our little snug room that has oak beams. This needed to be a specific size and look. Soo pleased when we found the Upcite website with a range of possibilities. We ordered a sideboard and it arrived within a few days and fits perfectly. It now looks lovely with it’s Christmas Garland on! From our experience we would recommend Upcite to others.

Item is nice but experience wasn't great

I did eventually receive the sideboard after a lot of back and forth, and the seller reached out to me. It arrived with a few scratches but that’s not the sellers fault and can be touched up. The experience however was rather stressful. I wish the seller had been as proactive from the start and not only after I complained, as it is simply nerve wrecking to spend close to £1000 and then never really hear from them and having to chase them repeatedly and the item not being delivered when it was agreed. Overall I am happy with the sideboard, but my experience wasn’t great and that’s how I genuinely feel.
