Blue painted corner console / telephone table with shelf and pull out drawer

This elegant refinished corner wooden console / telephone table has been hand painted using Annie Sloan satin paint in Cambrian Blue (blue/green/grey colour). The table top and the drawer have been sanded back to the original wood, then given a slight white wash before being protected using a white/grey stain & oil. Meadow flower transfers have been layered onto the front of the drawer to give a country charm feel. The edges of the front of the drawer and the original handle have been painted in a Liquid Metal paint. The inside of the drawer has also been sanded back and had a darker stain & oil applied to colour and protect the wood. The front edge around the table top has some lovely carved detail which I have subtly highlighted using gold shimmer wax.

The reeded legs give the table a very elegant look which would make it a lovely addition to a hallway as a console table or as a compact writing desk in a bedroom or living room.
