This beautiful walnut bureau has plenty of storage keeping all your paperwork neat and tidy and you very organised.
Handpainted in fusion mineral paint willowbank a striking dark navy matched with a gold pigment on added featured throughout the bureau.
The beautiful Walnut grain on the drawer fronts and main bureau leaf have been
sanded back to reveal its original beautiful grain and has been fully protected with several nourishing varnish topcoats.
The bureau consists of 2 drawers fully lined with matching decoupaged paper as the outter sides and within the cubby section ,
All sealed with heavy duty varnish and set off with the gold pigment paint on the details.
When the lockable leaf lids is pulled down it reveals a small additional drawer and letter racks. Handpainted in fusion mineral paper chateau and added gold pigment paint highlighting several sections. (Key is included with the additional gold tassel.)
We have added a few extra features to this pieces to give it a unique look.
2 corner poly-onlays and a beautiful butterfly moulding have been added onto the front of the leaf pull down section and one butterfly has been placed inside this section just for that extra touch.

"I was looking for a piece to stand next to a small ornate fireplace in our 1920’s build home and kept coming back to this lovely makeover, named ‘Grace’. I’m so delighted to have bought it. Mandy took time and care in delivering it and although she emphasised the fact it was an old piece I can only re-emphasise that that is exactly what I was looking for. It is testament to her skills that she has given ‘Grace’ a wonderful new lease of life. The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer. The beautifully highlighted claw feet on the bottom of the piece are a real treat to look at, and my beady-eyed art tutor/’general expert on painted stuff’ agreed Mandys’ work is superb – sympathetic to the piece and to a high standard. I know I shall enjoy having Grace grace our home for many years".

"I am very pleased with the look and quality of the sideboard and enclose a photo of it in-situ in our hallway. It fits perfectly. Thank you for the extreme thoroughness of the packing (it must have taken ages, as it took me a long time to unpack) and it arrived intact. Just one little blip, the tape caught a tiny bit of paint on the bottom edge which came away, but I have been able to touch this in, so no problem with the overall look.
I also added some sensor lights inside to help identify the contents as the interior was dark. They work a treat".
