Thanks for viewing my CC41 bedside cabinet.

Its an unusual design, made of wood, some parts plywood, as per the original specifications.

I couldnt find another example of this one, as it has handles carved from wood in the shape of a rose, which informed the decision to go pink with the finish.

I couldnt salvage the surface in order to leave it in its original condition, so I thought the next best thing would be to give it a colour and finish to harmonise with its more delicate features!

I used Little Greene eggshell in Helebore for the main area and I frottaged gold leaf on to the doors, with a bit of gold wax to highlight the rose handles. Its been a very popular piece with viewers so far and I'm pleased to share it via my Upcite page.
