A most charming set of drawers which have been beautifully restored.
3 solid drawers with dovetail joints.
The wooden drawer fronts have been stripped back, sanded, fed and protected with three coats of Osmo Oil. Shadow stencilling added, stippled edges and finished with unique one off handles.
The sides have been painted, stencilled and stippled to the edges.
The painted areas have then been given a final finish of a clear wax for protection. This has been fully cured and buffed giving a resilient protection and light sheen.

This piece has been lovingly restored. As with all our furniture there may be minor signs of her age and history which adds to her charm.

We found this really good website called Upcite where we saw lots of different and unusual furniture. We were after something oldie looking to go under the eaves in our little snug room that has oak beams. This needed to be a specific size and look. Soo pleased when we found the Upcite website with a range of possibilities. We ordered a sideboard and it arrived within a few days and fits perfectly. It now looks lovely with it’s Christmas Garland on! From our experience we would recommend Upcite to others.
I did eventually receive the sideboard after a lot of back and forth, and the seller reached out to me. It arrived with a few scratches but that’s not the sellers fault and can be touched up. The experience however was rather stressful. I wish the seller had been as proactive from the start and not only after I complained, as it is simply nerve wrecking to spend close to £1000 and then never really hear from them and having to chase them repeatedly and the item not being delivered when it was agreed. Overall I am happy with the sideboard, but my experience wasn’t great and that’s how I genuinely feel.
