This piece is entirely in its original condition with the exception of the top glass, which is new.  The mirror has the tiniest mark on it but I am unable to photograph it as it just won’t showup  in the pics.  It’s just over a centimetre in length.  It can’t be seen when the light is on, nor when it’s not as the cabinet interior is quite deep – you have to put your head right in to notice it!  The paint on the legs is not shiny, though taking photos of black is quite hard…the light makes the paintwork look a bit shiny, which it is not…I have used a dead flat matt varnish over the paint for protection.

I am an experienced professional furniture artist and use durable paint and materials.  All of my pieces are meticulously prepared – sanded, primed and base coated.  I source only top quality pieces of furniture in excellent vintage condition.  The whole is protected by several coats of polyurethane varnish for longevity.
