Antique Drinks/ Gin Cabinet Victoria is a very individual and unique piece of vintage furniture that is sure to make a statement in your home. If you prefer individual then please take a browse at this drinks/cocktail cabinet. There is plenty of space for storing bottles and glasses and is versitile enough to adorn either your lounge or dining room. She has a double cupboard underneath. The lid opens and has a solid brass latched arm so that the lid stays open. The bureau style top opens outwards showing off a mirrored surface. Inside has been finished with glass adding a modern and practical twist. Each side has a drawer with added brass tear drop handles. All of the original brass hardware has been cleaned and polished Victoria has been hand finished in Fusion paint, colour Liberty Blue with metallic gold accents for a touch of decadence. A lot of work has gone into give this girl a make over. If you would like more information or pictures please do not hesitate to get in touch. Please be advised this piece of furniture is approx. 100 years old and has had a previous life. She has some imperfections that are part of her character but she has been lovingly restored, hand painted and improved to create a piece of furniture for modern living for many more years to come. Victoria is a bespoke piece that is individual, some of her fixings are original so may show signs of a previous life but very care is I have taken to refinish her to a high standard with all of the respect she deserves. "I was looking for a piece to stand next to a small ornate fireplace in our 1920’s build home and kept coming back to this lovely makeover, named ‘Grace’. I’m so delighted to have bought it. Mandy took time and care in delivering it and although she emphasised the fact it was an old piece I can only re-emphasise that that is exactly what I was looking for. It is testament to her skills that she has given ‘Grace’ a wonderful new lease of life. The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer. The beautifully highlighted claw feet on the bottom of the piece are a real treat to look at, and my beady-eyed art tutor/’general expert on painted stuff’ agreed Mandys’ work is superb – sympathetic to the piece and to a high standard. I know I shall enjoy having Grace grace our home for many years".
