Edwardian Mirror Back Sideboard
This Edwardian mahogany small mirror back sideboard is a stunning and functional antique piece, featuring a large bevel-edged rectangular mirror framed by two elegantly turned columns, with an undershelf beneath. It offers two long drawers, adorned with decorative metal handles, and two cupboard doors with intricate carvings at the top, opening to reveal a single shelf inside. The sideboard rests on turned supports, adding to its timeless appeal.
With its warm colour and beautiful patina, this solid piece will complement a variety of home interiors. While there are some superficial marks, as shown in the photographs, these only enhance its character. This sideboard not only provides ample storage but will stand the test of time, making it a cherished addition to your home for generations to come.
The mirror top does come apart from the dresser base for ease of movement and transport.
There is a small drop handle missing from the left hand cupboard doors which but it does not take away from the beauty of the piece and could easily be replaced. There is also a small chip to the upper left hand corner of the wooden mirror surround.
