We have sanded it all back to bring out the beautiful woodgrain which we have kept to the top, drawers, latch and handles and added woodgrain stain oil. The rest has received two coats of Fusion Mineral's "Carriage House" green. The original sliding cutlery tray has been painted to match and has then been lined along with the inside bottom and shelf in a contrasting complimentary paper. The drawers inside and runners have been treated with an orange oil infused beeswax and the rest has been sealed with clear finishing wax.
A beautiful classic.
