G Plan Astro Long John Teak Nest Of Tables, Leopard Decoupage, Wild Cat, Gold Leaf - MADE TO ORDER

This vintage G Plan Astro nest of 3 occasional tables, with afrormosia banding from the Fresco furniture range by E-Gomme Ltd was designed by Victor Wilkins in the 1960s.

The gorgeous design and superior construction throughout display a strong Scandinavian design influence and makes this interfitting nest of coffee tables a classic addition to any mid-century-styled living interior. The form of the legs gives this vintage teak nest of tables a beautiful retro look.

The large coffee table has been decoupaged with a shattered leopard decoupage paper, painted with Cornish Milk Mineral Paint in the shade of Black Rock and leopard print detail has been stencilled on with gold leaf foil. This has been finished with multiple coats of Polyvine Crystal Clear Lacquer in a High Gloss finish.

The two smaller side tables have been restored. Their tops have been stripped and lightly sanded to remove the old finish and any stains where possible. These have been finished with two coats of Osmo Polyx Hard Wax Oil in Satin which is resistant to water and dirt is very durable and smoothens wood surfaces.

The tables are strong and sturdy with no loose joints. The tables have a few light marks but no more than would be expected. They are in fantastic vintage condition and are ready to be used straight away. The G Plan label is still present on the underside of the long john table.

Each piece comes with its own touch-up kit and instructions on how to care for your furniture.

Customers are very welcome to collect items in person from BN17 - Littlehampton, West Sussex. I also offer free delivery within 20 miles of this postcode. 

I offer free postage for items being delivered to the mainland UK. For the Highlands, Islands and Ireland please contact me before placing your order for an accurate delivery quote. Your item will be sent by our trusted and reliable courier service. Once the courier has collected your piece of furniture from me, he will contact you directly to arrange a mutually convenient date and time for delivery. Please allow up to two weeks for delivery of your piece of furniture.

All my work is refinished with care and attention to detail using good quality materials and furniture paints. I source quality pieces of furniture and bring them back to life in unique and creative ways.

As with all pre-loved furniture, they may show evidence of their past life with the occasional dent or imperfection. Major imperfections are always addressed and repaired to a high standard, but we believe small marks tell the story of the piece's history and add to its charm. As this item is hand-painted and hand-finished, it may also show faint brush marks, imperfections and texture, which I hope you agree adds to the uniqueness and character of the piece. Please also note that due to lighting, colours may vary slightly from those in the photos. Please kindly keep this in mind during your purchase.
