Crafted with an eye for tradition, this reproduction Georgian Style Bachelor Chest of Drawers offers a classic addition to any interior. The piece is a tasteful blend of functionality and elegance, the chest is solid mahogany,  the brushing slide was used for the gentlemen's trousers to be laid out on to save them getting creased, now days can be used as a desk, or its original use , the choice is yours, the 4 graduating drawers have a solid mahogany base making them very strong, the top drawer has a name engraved into it looks like F Matthews,  all free sliding  with its rich mahogany finish complementing the brass handle detailing, the sides have a fluted pattern ,It stands as a free-standing unit on bracket feet, ready to be placed in any room, embodying the sophistication of the Georgian era. Measuring 83cm in height and length, with a compact 42cm width, this chest is a practical size for storage and display, perfect for those who appreciate the charm of vintage craftsmanship. When the slide is out it is 66cm wide, some age related marks, please  see all pictures for condition.
