This beautiful Georgian style sideboard is a beautiful shape with a wonderful serpentine outline. The sideboard has two drawers - one at the top with ring drop handles with a second 'secret' drawer underneath that. It also has a pair of cupboards with ring drop handles in the centre of each. The top drawer has two sections with one of them being a removable sliding tray. Both of these sections are lined with green felt with slots for cutlery. The green felt does have some signs of ware and tear but is in good condition overall, please see photos for more detail. The two cupboards have one shelf in each.

The top of the sideboard, drawer fronts and cupboard fronts have all been sanded back to reveal the wonderful wood grain. The rest of the piece has been painted in Coal Black by Fusion Mineral Paint with the top and the cupboard fronts having a border painted, also in Coal Black. The lovely handles have had gold gilding wax applied to make them stand out. The whole piece has then been sealed for protection.

This is a vintage piece in good condition but it will show signs of its previous life, all of which add charm to the piece. Please see photos and do ask if you would like any others.

The stencilling on the drawers is top notch; the piece is painted beautifully - including the bits you wouldn’t normally see, which I prefer.
