Hi,
This is a great little storage trunk, with two hasps on the front and carrying handles on the sides.
The finish is very unique - I painted it with a spatula using a selection of Annie Sloan chalk paints, all layered and daubed on thickly in random areas, to get an impressionistic paint finish.
I painted the inside in a durable eggshell, in a colour which compliments the finish well, and I waxed all the outer areas and polished them to keep the finish protected. I did the same with the painted handles.
You can put padlocks on the hasps of the chest to keep any contents secure.
For styling it will be great in the corner of an art studio, study, craft room , bedroom or child's room, or even an entry way for putting your boots and shoes in after a walk.
Its got a happy sunny summertime colour scheme and a very vibrant look - I won't replicate this look so its a one off item.
