The main body & drawers of this lovely piece has been painted in Fusion Bellwood. Bellwood is a lovely fresh colour- with the green palette proving very popular this year.
The original scalloped handles have been buffed in an antiqued style to retain the character and authenticity of the piece.
The drawer dovetails have been enhanced to show off the craftsmanship of the work with the drawer insides having a treatment with Howard Feed & Wax.
A Fusion Beeswax finishing coat has been applied to aid the durability of the finish.
The Lebus 'button' in the drawer dates its manufacture in the 1940s .
