Bohemian Green & Gold: Revamped Harris Lebus MCM Chest of Drawers - MADE TO ORDER

A vibrant bohemian makeover breathes new life into this vintage Harris Lebus three-drawer chest, making it a standout piece for your fun and colourful home.

I painted the body in a rich forest green, then aged it with a paint wash and distressed gold stencilling. To add a touch of artistic flair and cultural richness, a captivating decoupaged African lady print adorns the front.

Layers of gold and black wax were applied to create a distinguished, aged look. Depending on the light, the piece shimmers with a subtle golden glow. The original handles have been preserved.

The calming green contact paper lining the drawers provides a soothing touch to the interior.

This versatile piece can transform any space. Use it in your bedroom for clothes, accessories, and personal items, adding timeless elegance. In the family room, it offers both storage and eye-catching beauty. All my work is refinished with care and attention to detail using good quality materials and furniture paints. I source quality pieces of furniture and bring them back to life in unique and creative ways.

Major imperfections are always addressed and repaired to a high standard, but I believe small marks tell the story of the piece's history and add to its charm.
