Beautiful vintage Harris Lebus chest with three draws has been a joy to breath new life back into so it can continue to do the job it was built for in the 1940’s, they don’t make them like this anymore and this is a wonderful example of the product.

I have used a softer colour palette that will complement most homes. The external body of the draws have been painted using Annie Sloan chalk paint in the colour Country Grey, in areas it has been lightly distressed to reveal a custom colour that compliments the beautiful foil bird’s decoupage paper. The original handles have been cleaned and gold gilding wax has been added and buffed back with dark and clear wax to soften the finish. The internal draws have been treated with a couple of coats of Hemp Oil to rejuvenate them.

Beautiful Bedside Tables

The bedside tables are stunning! The seller was so nice and communicated extremely well, even though she was on holiday at the time I purchased! I said she didn't have to worry until she returned to the UK, but she still started to communicate with couriers to arrange pick-up of the items before her return, which I thought was lovely of her.

I'm extremely impressed with how quickly the seller arranged delivery and accommodated for dates I would be at home for the deilvery. The furniture is also stunning and arrived with no damages and well packaged. Extremely happy with the furniture bought and the seller. A small paintbrush and touch up paint was also included, which I thought was a nice touch.

Kraken Drawers

My new table arrived from PinkDotUpcycling at Upcite and omg I'm in love! I so miss being able to do this kind of thing myself, but cannot fault the work done to bring this table back to life and just look how stunning my kraken's bride is!! . Off to follow the FB groups now to see what other unique pretties I can find! Technically a lamp table, but us three being shorties means it will work just fine for crafting, science experiments etc. . . Only opened up to protect the artwork and a table cloth!.
