This is a stunning and practical chest of drawers which has been professional refurbished by me.

This is very similar in style and construction to Harris Lebus furniture and I would not be surprised if it is. However it does not have a maker’s mark so I can’t be sure.

This piece has lovely oak veneer on the drawers and top.

I decided to show off the grain by just giving it a light paint wash and then sealing it with a Matt decorators varnish.

The feet of the piece have decorative-styled carving which has been subtlety highlighted with pale gold detailing.

The rest of the outside is painted in Fusion Mineral Paint in the gorgeous ‘Homestead Blue’.

Inside the drawers have been painted using Frenchic’s ‘Cool Beans’ to complement the paper used to line the base of the drawers.

The lovely deco-style handles were removed, cleaned and refinished in a soft pale gold.

The whole piece has been sealed with decorators varnish to protect it and keep it looking great for years to come.
