Transformed from a forgotten dark brown relic into a statement piece, this upcycled drinks cabinet exudes charm and sustainability. With its character and unique flair, it's more than just a piece of furniture—it's a conversation starter and a testament to creativity.

The whitewashed wood exterior of the cabinet showcases the natural beauty of the oak wood grain. The inside, painted in Pressed Fern green by Fusion Mineral Paint adds a delightful pop of color, infusing the interior with the earthy hues of the forest. 

A unique hand painted tapestry of shimmering tones of gold dances across the back panel with a gold leaf tree taking centre stage as the focal point and paying homage to the beautiful oak.

This wood cocktail cabinet comes complete with 3 moveable shelves plus the bottom shelf of the unit acting as the 4th shelf, providing flexibility to adjust the shelves to accommodate different bottle and glass sizes. 

During the upcycling process I have taken care to ensure the finish is to a high quality. The paints I use are professional grade specifically for furniture upcycling. I prefer the mineral silk paints rather than chalk paint - this makes my products durable and gives a good quality finish. I use top coats such as Polyvine decorators varnish for additional durability.

* This unit has both age and history and has been previously loved, there may therefore be signs of a life well lived. I have however taken care to lovingly restore it (as with all my work) to a beautiful re-loved statement piece that would sit proudly in any home. If it's a perfect factory finish you're after then upcycled may not be the best choice for you. All my pieces are chosen for their character and (like all of us) may have small flaws that add to this.
