Upcycled from 1990s solid pine units, these drawers have been carefully cleaned, stripped and repaired. There are chips and gouges to the wood as you would expect from items this old, but these do not detract from the overall functionality and flamboyance of the pieces.
The exterior is painted in a melange of coral, scarlet and orange, then stencilled with a turquoise mandala pattern.
The round metal handles have been carefully polished.
All surfaces are protected with a satin varnish.
Please note that most of my pieces are rescued from landfill and whilst I clean, repair and prep all pieces before upcycling, some signs of ageing and wear and tear cannot be fixed - I like to think these imperfections add to the character of the pieces.

My new table arrived from PinkDotUpcycling at Upcite and omg I'm in love! I so miss being able to do this kind of thing myself, but cannot fault the work done to bring this table back to life and just look how stunning my kraken's bride is!! . Off to follow the FB groups now to see what other unique pretties I can find! Technically a lamp table, but us three being shorties means it will work just fine for crafting, science experiments etc. . . Only opened up to protect the artwork and a table cloth!.
